Guidelines considered while preparation of the syllabus

1. There will be 4 topics (includes project) per month considering 4 weekends in every month though some months have 5 weekends and they keep changing year to year.
   
2. Shloka, Subhashitam, Amrutvachan for each month.
   
3. Geet for two months. It should be simple.
   
4. For the first group, Bhajan can be considered instead of Geet because Bhajan is more simple than Geet. It is small with repetition of same lines but different in rhythm (tune).
   
5. Broad Categories such as - Sangh, Festival, Typical Hindu Dharma related, Epics, Great Personalities, Man of Virtue, Panchatantra or Moral Stories - are considered. Other subjects such as vedik maths, Sanskrit speaking, Sanskritik Bharat, Science, Health Science will also be considered.
   
6. Cover at least one festival per month.
   
7. Exercise/questions should be given after every month. For the second group, questions for research should be provided.
   
8. One project per month. Project includes arts and crafts, skits, charcha, workshop.
   
9. Try to make audio files of the geet available to shikshaks.
